Students with the Wrangell Public Schools music program don Santa hats for their caroling during the tree lighting at Midnight Madness December 1. Clearing Front Street of traffic for pedestrians, the event heralds in the holiday season for Wrangell. Children queued up to visit with Santa Claus over at the WCA Cultural Center, while Christmas shoppers took advantage of sales going on at the various shops and bazaars.
