Snowfall coats the clan house on Chief Shakes Island Tuesday morning, the latest in the month's batch of winter weather. Low visibility prevented the morning jet from arriving, and throughout the preceding week adverse water conditions and icy road surfaces caused cancelled school trips and contributed to a few fender benders.
