Dennis Chapman, 65, passed away November 12, 2012 at his home in Salesville, Ark.

Dennis was born to Carl B. and Lucy Chapman in Terre Haute, Ind.

Dennis was an U.S. Army veteran and a Green Beret.

He moved to Alaska after being hired by the City of Wrangell to be the director of the museum. Dennis was employed from September 2002 until his retirement in May of 2010.

Dennis is survived by his brother Montie (Karlyn) Chapman of Collierville, Tenn., and his children.
