Rita Rae Perez

Rita Rae Perez, 65, died on November 11, 2013.

She was born Tlingit/Aleut Raven/Frog on May 6, 1948 in Wrangell, Alaska to Henry and Fanny (Theordosia) Bradley. She was their 4th daughter.

Rita loved to spend time with her kids and grandkids and watch her grandsons' school sporting events. She also could be found playing bingo, card games and dice games.

She enjoyed derby fishing with her sister Johanna, plus City Park family picnics. She loved family and friends' company as long as there was an Elvis song playing in the background.

Rita worked at Bingo, and a dishwasher at the Senior Center. For the past five years she worked for AICS as a caregiver for her sister Louise.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; granddaughter Shayna Christenthea Hibber; grandson Jefferey Peele; sister and brother-in-law Lucille and Paul Fluetsch, sisters Dawn Hutchinson-Stevens, Louise Bradley, Margaret Nauska, Alice Buchanan; brother Thomas Nauska and brother-in-law Morgan Joseph.

She is survived by: her children Allen James (Tara Jacobsen), Thea James and Jarvis Perez; grandsons Eric James, William Peele and Kei'cee James; sisters Anna Conaster (Tom), Johanna Joseph, and Patricia Rosson (Pastor Bryan); brother James Nauska (Sandra); and many nieces, nephews and great nephews.
