Toppled Queen

The Pacific Queen sits keeled over against the harbor grid at Shoemaker Bay on Oct. 15. Its owner, Randy Radigan, had been hoping to get the boat hauled out to Hoonah when its keel kicked over sometime Oct. 11. Left there since, Harbormaster Greg Meissner explained his department is exploring its options in removing the Queen, possibly impounding it. "It's at the point where we've given him plenty of time to take care of it," he said. As of Tuesday, Meissner was still hoping to reach an agreement with Radigan about its removal.
