AICS awarded three-year CARF accreditation

Staff from Alaska Island Community Services senior and disabilities services, community behavioral health office and Crossings program gather Jan. 23 to display the three-year certificate of accreditation they received from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities International. This is the first accreditation AICS has ever received from CARF International, a peer-reviewed process demonstrating that the center's behavioral health services conform to the commission's exacting standards.
