Aly Howell, the new second grade teacher at Evergreen Elementary, was preparing last Thursday for the start of classes. Howell has spent the past eight years teaching in schools on Prince of Wales Island. When the teaching position in Wrangell opened up, Howell jumped at the chance to return.
