Dan Rudy/ Wrangell Sentinel

Workers with Buness Electric and Wrangell Municipal Light and Power use the city's boom truck to change out the fluorescent lighting atop First Presbyterian Church Dec. 23. The bright red light shaped like a cross had first been installed almost exactly a year before, but had been off now for some months after a corner of glass tubing was broken. Whether the light was damaged by weather, bird or other means is uncertain.
