A whale of a spectacle
Passengers on an Alaska Vistas marine mammals excursion were treated to a show by lunge-feeding humpback whales on Aug. 13. The boat was east of Whale Pass in Clarence Strait, southwest of Wrangell. More than half a dozen Wrangell-based boat charters offer sightseeing trips for locals and visitors alike.
