Addressing the town
DATAMARK mapping technicians Sara Wazir (left) and Vera Jackson are in Wrangell until Friday, Oct. 2, collecting data for the borough’s addressing project. The information they collect will help create a uniform address system, providing every house and business with its own street number. If you see two people in orange vests walking around looking at buildings, they’re just doing their job. On Sept. 24, they were turning off Shakes Street to head up Case Avenue.
