Wrangell Burial Assistance, a nonprofit founded in 2019, is seeking caring and dedicated community members to join our board.
Our mission is simple but deeply meaningful: to provide financial relief and support to families responsible for the burial or cremation of a loved one. We know that loss can feel overwhelming — both emotionally and financially — and we are committed to easing some of that burden for those in need.
In addition to financial assistance, we have gathered resources specific to Wrangell to help families navigate end-of-life arrangements. Our website includes the Wrangell Community Final Arrangements and End of Life Information booklet, compiled by Hospice of Wrangell, which serves as a valuable guide through every step of the process.
By joining our board, you’ll be part of a compassionate effort that ensures Wrangell families have support during some of life’s hardest moments.
