Nancy Delpero (left) and Nyla Rinehart spent eight hours in the cold as community members arrived to donate groceries and other items for the “Fill-The-Bus” food-raising on Thursday, Nov. 13. The bus, which was donated by Breakaway Adventures, was parked on Outer Drive. The event, organized by Vivian Faith Prescott, collected about 1,200 pounds of food for The Salvation Army food pantry. “I am overwhelmed by the generosity of this community,” Rinehart said.
