Looking to make it a banner summer
Jacob Hammer of the municipal line crew hung out in the boom truck bucket to hang up the town’s decorative light pole banners on April 22. The banners, which hang on about 18 downtown poles, are put up every year to add some color and art to the view. The first cruise ship of the season, the 728-berth Silver Nova, is scheduled to arrive on Thursday, May 7.
