Open house draws a crowd
Structure CEO Blake Rider (upper left, white T-shirt) explained how the company’s remote monitoring system works during an open house at the soon-to-be-converted assembly area in the former Ottesen’s warehouse on Front Street on Aug. 28. Nearly 200 people stopped in at the open house to tour the facility and learn more about Structure and its business -- and listen to the music -- according to borough officials. The company plans to start work sometime next year assembling and marketing a new system for utilities and businesses to remotely monitor their power lines, water lines, sewage treatment plants or other operations.
