Wrangell joins in the day’s observances
WCA staff (from left) Kim Wickman, Jennifer Stewart and Lexie Hayes staff the info desk at the second annual community potluck to observe National Recovery Month, Domestic Violence Prevention Month and World Suicide Prevention Day on Sept. 30. The event, at the Nolan Center, was sponsored by SEARHC. The event also commemorated Orange Shirt Day, which started more than a decade ago in British Columbia and has since grown to remember all Indigenous children who were sent to government- or church-run boarding schools.
