Public health nurse Ty Esposito converses with guests at the Wrangell Public Health Center's open house on Friday. Having recently arrived to Wrangell, Esposito wanted to get to know her new community members better while also inviting them to reacquaint themselves with the clinic and its services. The event opened up with a welcoming ceremony performed by Wrangell's Shtax' Keen Kwaan dancing group before people were invited inside to mingle, eat and explore the office. After August's immunization drive draws to a close, the clinic will be focused on promoting September's National Preparedness Month.
