John Eilert Eilertsen, 62, died March 27, 2015, in Wrangell, Alaska.

He was born the second child of Arne and Blodwen (Olson) Eilertsen on December 27, 1952, in Salem, Ore.

He married Jacqueline Paull on August 29, 1970, in The Dalles, Ore.

A tug boat captain for about 30 years, John loved the water and boats. He was also a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
