Election results certified, 23% turnout for 2015
Wrangell's Canvass Board verified the results of last week's municipal election, which were certified by the City and Borough Assembly at a special meeting Monday afternoon.
Of 1,639 registered voters, 375 cast ballots either at the polls on Oct. 6 or beforehand as absentees. Of these, 13 were deemed spoiled due to improper marking, and another three were rejected due to the voters being improperly registered.
