Fourth infractions pretty low key

 


After the extended Independence day weekend, city workers last week began the process of collecting the considerable amounts of litter, egg shells and fireworks remnants from Front Street, while stray strands of dried Silly String may take a bit longer to wash off.

As ever, Wrangell’s

celebration made for an

enjoyable weekend, with its events well-attended and

its Royalty competition breaking record numbers for fundraising.

Despite the lengthy, at times messy festivities, Wrangell Police Department reported problems had been at a minimum this year.
