September 20, 1917: The “Rag Doll Party” given at the Rink last evening under the direction of Mrs. C.G. Burnet for the benefit of the Red Cross was largely attended, and was a success financially. The 22 little people taking part furnished an evening’s entertainment which for real amusement discounted anything their parents and the rest of us might have attempted before the footlights.
