Wrangell Cooperative Association's IGAP department collected 26 pallets of old gill nets for recycling on Nov. 7. IGAP collects old gill nets and have them sent to Skagit River Steel & Recycling, where they are melted down and reused. The program is free, and old gill nets can be dropped off in the boat yard next to Trident cold storage.
