Kindergarteners and first graders at Evergreen Elementary had a special guest last week, Dec. 12, via the Internet. The Alaska SeaLife Center held a special class over a livestream with Evergreen students from Seward. Darin Trobaugh, education specialist with the SeaLife Center, taught the students about Alaska's marine mammals and answered their questions. The class was part of the center's distance learning program, which gives students across the state opportunities to learn more about Alaskan sea life.
