Karri Anderson, 51, passed away at her home in Great Falls, Mont. on May 22, 2012.

She was born Aug. 8, 1960 in Coos Bay, Ore. to Charles and Agnes Waldron. As a child she was adopted by her stepfather Carroll Merritt.

After high school graduation in Wrangell and business school in Portland, Ore. she worked for the U.S. Forest Service for a number of years in Alaska, Montana, and Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her birth father and all grandparents.

Karri is survived by her parents Carroll and Agnes Merritt, stepbrother Vince, stepsister Jane, and aunt and uncle Ron and Marlene Merritt and their children.
