Jammer "Romaine Event" tries to squeeze her way ahead of the pack during a roller derby bout between Wrangell's Garnet Grit Betties and Wasilla's Boom Town Derby Dames last Friday in Anchorage. The Betties were bested by the Derby Dames 145 to 214 but beat the Rage City Rollergirls' Orange Crush squad in a scrimmage bout the next day. The team will be hosting the Denali Destroyer Dolls from Palmer for its next game on April 4 at the Wrangell High School gym.
