Clockwise from left, Wrangell firefighters Dustin Johnson, Jordan Buness, Walter Moorhead, Adam Sprehe, Chief Tim Buness, Chris Hatton and Dorianne Curley all celebrate after participating in this year's Scott Firefighter Stairclimb in Seattle. Figured on a per-capita basis, Wrangell's ranked ninth among all participating departments for the $15,300 it raised for blood cancer research. At center, Moorhead was included in the first battalion to make the climb, having raised the 13th highest amount of the 19,000 firefighters in attendance at $6,533. The crew appreciated the community for its support during the fundraising process.
