Richard Arlen Klinke

Richard Arlen Klinke, 75, passed away August 15, 2016.

He was born February 5, 1941 to Allen (Bud) and Agda Klinke in Bagley, Minnesota. He was the third of nine children.

He joined the Air Force after graduating High School, and then went to the interior of Alaska. He met his wife Dolores and moved to Wrangell in 1967. They had three children, Lavonne, Kalcie, their third child, Kelvin passed away shortly after birth in 1974.

Richard worked in the lumber industry starting at the downtown mill after

moving to Wrangell and continued

working in the same industry until his

retirement. He was involved with St. Francis Animal Rescue as a carpenter,

transporter, cuddler or any other tasks as they arose.

He is survived by his wife Dolores; daughter Lavonne; son Kalcie (Kemberly); and grandchildren Brittney, Nichole, Austin and Nathan. 

Funeral services were held August 27 at Harbor Light Assembly of God with interment at Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
