Feel the paddle, be the paddle

Tyler Best, of Kenai, hits a drop shot in the Alaska Recreation and Park Association's pickleball tournament in Wrangell on Sept. 18. The group held its annual conference Sept. 17-19. Wrangell's Sam Pausman and Heather Howe won the tournament, defeating Best and his teammate on their way to victory. Best was recently elected to serve as the next president of the statewide association.
