Katie Robbins, left, Clarissa Young, Jennifer Wiederspohn, Will McCandless, Shawna Buness (with some help from Piper Buness) of the roller derby team Garnet Grit Betties hand a check worth $1,477.29 to Nedra Shoultz at Hannah’s Place. The Betties raised the funds to help with the early childhood and parenting association. First Bank matched the team’s contribution. The Betties are still in need of players for the upcoming season.
