Firefighters extinguish a forklift on fire Thursday morning at Wrangell's Marine Service Center. An eyewitness at the scene said operator Andy Degner had removed the vehicle's propane tank after the fire started, possibly limiting the damage. Workers at the boatyard then tried to put out the fire with a hose and bucket before the volunteer fire department arrived minutes later.
