Charges were dismissed by

the prosecution against Mikel E. Smith, 15, for Driving Without a Valid License. All charges in

the case have been disposed,

and any bond posted not

ordered forfeited has been exonerated.

June 20

Karl J. Sjodin, 85, appeared before Judicial Officer Chris Ellis on the charge of Driving Under the Influence, a Class A misdemeanor. The defendant pleaded no contest, and was found guilty of the offense. The court ordered Sjodin to serve 30 days with 27 suspended; complete screening, evaluation and treatment with a state-approved agency in Alaska or Washingto...
