A group made it out to Volunteer Park trail early Thanksgiving morning to participate in the sixth annual Turkey Trot. Kneeling in the front row in an assortment of costumes, members of the high school volleyball team helped organize the 5K run, which for the first time was sponsored by AICS/SEARHC. The charitable jaunt raised around $367 and some sundry food items, which will be going toward the Salvation Army's local Christmas food drive.
