Kate Thomas, Wrangell's parks and recreation director, recently earned an award from the Alaska Recreation and Parks Association. ARPA held their annual conference in early October, virtually in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Among the people and organizations recognized during the ceremony was Thomas, who received the Professional Award.
