Wrangell's Jack Roberts (airborne, in the center) starts the 100-yard freestyle final during the state championship meet Nov. 4 at Juneau's Dimond Park Aquatic Center. Roberts placed third in the event at 47.95 seconds, a fraction of a second behind the first-place finisher, Ben Price of Anchorage's Service High School, at 47.12.
