A canoe of veterans and people paddling on behalf of veterans entered the downtown harbor on May 28, arriving for the community potluck that evening at the Nolan Center. The veterans canoe and several others left early the next morning, headed to Juneau for Celebration, held every two years to celebrate Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian dance and song.
